 With the dramatic drop in fertilizer prices this fall, in some cases by half or even more, fall fertilization is something well worth considering for producers. That according to Ross McKenzie, agronomy research scientist with Alberta Agriculture in Lethbridge. For those producers who do decide to fertilize this fall, McKenzie says the first things to consider are which fields and how much fertilizer to put on.
