| | Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development's Field Crop Development Centre and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Lacombe Research Centre are hosting the annual field day in Lacombe on July 30, 2009. Topics on the agenda this year include:
- feed quality and germplasm development
- forage quality
- swath grazing
- triticale and winter wheat
- pulse breeding and pathology
- nitrogen use efficiency
- agronomy - rotation studies
- biotechnology for breeding and risk management
Along with current research and crop trials, information on current conditions and pests that producers are facing this year will also be discussed.
