As Alberta moves towards the goal of having 30% of Alberta’s energy resources come from renewable sources by 2030, a greater number of landowners are being approached by developers to lease land for wind and solar developments. The Farmers’ Advocate Office (FAO) is hosting a series of workshops to talk about the negotiation of leases with renewable energy developers. We want to ensure people are aware that negotiating with wind and energy developers is not the same as negotiating with oil and gas.

Registration can be in one of two ways: by calling the hosting city/municipality, or by emailing the FAO at farmers.advocate@gov.ab.ca with your name and preferred location.
