 Note: On October 1, 2006, amendments to the regulations under the Agricultural Operation Practices Act (AOPA) came into effect.

This brochure provides a quick overview of the provincial standards for the livestock industry and manure management in Alberta. It is intended for the general public, municipalities and the agriculture industry. It includes a brief introduction to the history, key contacts, definitions, points and questions regarding the Agricultural Operation Practices Act and Regulations.
