AgChoices 2011 was held at the Capri Hotel, Trade & Convention Centre in Red Deer on February 16, 2011. Over 200 producers and industry people who attended the conference found it an excellent learning experience and a great networking opportunity.

John Knapp, Deputy Minister of Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development opened the day with greetings from the department and a question and answer session. The one-day event displayed two keynote speakers - futurist Jim Bottomley and Iowa farmer and professional speaker Jolene Brown. .

Along with speeches and networking, 20 concurrent agricultural information sessions were held at the ever popular AgInfo Market.
