.What is Cow-Calfenomics?
Cow-Calfenomics is a workshop series developed by Alberta Agriculture and Forestry designed for Alberta’s beef producers, focused on enhancing farm business management knowledge.
The Livestock and Crops Division, along with industry partners, support a self-reliant agricultural industry with long-term profitability and competitiveness. This will be accomplished through industry adoption of enhanced business management strategies,and new tools and skills for improved decision making. New technology, innovative tools and strategic solutions, all contribute to more informed decision making at the farm level.
These seminars bring information, ideas, and an opportunity for producers to add to their management “tool kit” … making better choices based on better information. Cow-Calfenomics provides an opportunity to engage face-to-face with presenters and peers, turning information into action
